THE WINNER’S CIRCLE GEAR REDUCTION STARTER WILL HELP TO ELIMINATE PROBLEMS RELATED TO THE LUCAS STARTERS. MOST PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW THAT DURING HARD BRAKING, THE PINION GEAR ON THE STARTER MOVES INTO THE RING GEAR. THIS ALSO HAPPENS IN A MINI DURING HARD CORNERING, THUS THE RING GEAR GETS CHEWED UP AND TURNS THE STARTER AT UNWANTED RPM. THIS STARTER IS A GEAR REDUCTION TYPE WHICH engages the ring gear then TURNs the ENGINE OVER. ELECTRICITY  FROM THE BATTERY IS SAVED AND GIVING A FASTER START. THE STARTER IS NOTCHED RATHER THAN HAVING HOLES DRILLED FOR EASIER INSTALLATION.  NO MODIFICATION TO THE BODY IS NECESSARY.
