This is the type used on Huffaker's very successful car!!
This the clutch type limited slip differential. Very similar to the Salisbury unit that was sold in days past. This diff. is setup for racing rather than rally use, but can be special ordered for rally setup. This is the perfered type rather than the Detroit Locker which is really bad in a Spridget. The Detroit Locker works good in a heavy car but not in our Spridgets. They will break axles! Another type to stay away from is the cam & pawl type which lets the inside rear wheel spin when unloaded. If you can keep all wheels down like a formula car it will work.
The clutch type is still the best of the breed! Disappointment does not happen with our customers that use this differential.
