This is a far better seal than the one that comes with the kit...https://www.spridget.com/product-page/rear-oil-seal-1275. The kit does work and we've used it on a bunch of engines. We've found that the seal in the kit is very low quality and fails fairly quickly. This seal lasts. We've run one on my race motor and it's in reusable condition when we've rebuilt the engine!
